On the Decauville-bridge up to the doors, just right of the middle of the picture, carriages with wooden saw dust were pulled up on the rails. The saw dust was mixed with the clay before cutting the bricks.

(Decauville; a frenchman who invented a small railway, built in sections that could be lifted by hand, and therefore was easy to move.)
